Roxy-Adopted!'s Story...
Roxy is a beautiful border collie mix who is just an awesome dog. She is very sweet, friendly, loves other dogs, cats, kids and all people she meets.

She is only 10 months old, but she is not a hyper pup. She does love to run and play, but she is smart, knows basic commands (sit, lay down, stay) and is well mannered. She does not bark alot. She loves to go for long walks but especially loves to run outside and play ball or play with another dog.

Roxy would make a great agility dog. She learns very quickly and would enjoy the challenge and fun of participating in agility classes.

She is currently with her owner, but due to personal circumstances, the owner is not able to provide the time and exercise that she needs. We are looking for the perfect family who will love Roxy and make a life-time commitment to her. If you are interested in adopting Roxy, please complete our on-line adoption application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy-Adopted!, a Ontario Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Ontario, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Ontario.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ontario already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ontario breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ontario paves the way for another one to be saved.
