Homer-ADOPTED!'s Story...
Poor Homer, he was dumped like trash because his owner said he wouldn't hunt. At least they dumped him at a home that was willing to take him in and help find this poor guy a new home with a family that will love and care for him. Homer's a calm dog who's quite content to be inside with people. He's a real sweetheart, around 3 years old and gets along great with his foster mom's little dogs and cat. He's a medium size and 60 pounds. Homer's very laid back and very quiet. He does have some sores on his skin obviously from laying on the hard ground. Homer is a great companion and friend to a family.

Homer is being fostered in Hanover Ontario. If you would like a great family pet, then please consider adopting Homer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Homer-ADOPTED!, a Ontario Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Ontario, or seeking a Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Ontario.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ontario already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ontario breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Foxhound/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ontario paves the way for another one to be saved.
