My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~adoption fee applies, please email CAARescue@gmail.com to know more~
My name is Buck and even though I am barely over one year old I have been abandoned 3 times already!! My last family abandoned me in just a mere 17 days sending me back to the pound
I am really happy to be in foster care with CAA Rescue now so that I can have some stability in my life because clearly no one has spent any time to teach me anything and then they toss me aside because they say I am a “Bad DOG!” but I am not… I am just a baby that no one has spent any time showing me anything!!! But such is the life of companion animals in Quebec, I am not the only one and my story is not unique
So I was born in March 2016 so I am only 15 months old but I weigh in at approximately 75lbs so I am no small fry and I probably have a little more adult filling out to do so maybe I will reach 80 lbs
I am a happy guy and enjoy car rides!
I am house trained but I do need basic obedience training … the usual like not to jump on people to say HIYA and not to use my mouth so much during play time (but that could be the husky in me which is a pretty typical trait of that breed)
I do also need leash training, I seem to respond a little better to the harness than just the collar and leash. Remember my size… I am young and strong and so if I decide we are walking That A WAY! You better be prepared to follow if you do not get some basic obedience in me
I have been left around for approximately 4 hours with no issues
I did live with kids in one of my homes and I was good with them except from my goofy untrained ways and size… in my excitement it is easy for me to knock a little one over. It would not be my intention to hurt but you know how that goes… knock the baby down and back to the pound I go so I think a home that can be dedicated to me and only me will be ideal because I have a lot to learn to become that positive canine citizen I want to be. So maybe if kids come over every now and again and remain respectful and not over excited around me that would be ok
I have not been tested with any cats
At this time in foster care I show no signs of possession or aggression
I am looking for an active guardian and not a first time dog person. I would need someone experienced, patient and committed to make sure that the next home is my last one for always
