Penny is a gorgeous, fun and happy, three-year-old, 45-pound, female brindle Shar Pei/Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Penny is full of kisses and tail wags for everyone she meets. She is great with other big dogs with proper introduction, but probably not tiny dogs and cats. She does great in doggie play groups.

She was rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control and would do wonderfully with an energetic family without young children. Penny is crate-trained and housebroken.

She has storm-phobia, so she wears a thunder-shirt during storms.

Penny’s adoption fee of $250 benefits rescued pets. She is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. She is currently in foster care.
