Savannah's Story...
Sweet Savannah was saved from from a large urban shelter in S. FL. Her foster mom says that she's without a doubt the sweetest foster she's ever had and that is saying a lot! Savannah is middle aged, perhaps 4-5, and has clearly had a few litters of puppies. She loves to curl up on the couch next to you, but will also play and act silly if the occasion warrants. Savannah is a treasure and will be a wonderful companion for the right lucky family. She has her own Facebook page! Check her out: Savannah the Rescue. Savannah is heartworm negative, crate trained, house trained, current on vaccinations and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350. For more information, please complete the online adoption application at www.bullmastiff.us/rescue and contact Camille at concannonc@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Savannah, a North Port Bullmastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bullmastiff for sale in North Port, or seeking a Bullmastiff dog from a breeder in North Port.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Port already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Port breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bullmastiff breeders who help with Bullmastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Port paves the way for another one to be saved.
