Starla (ETAA)'s Story...
Meet Starla! She is around a year old and is bonded with her sister, Emma, but can be adopted separately. Starla is the shy one of the pair. She loves to play with her sister and snuggle under her human's arm with her head buried! She follows Emma wherever she goes! They are both excellent with other dogs and with cats and they just like being under covers or just lying on the back of the couch. Won't you open up your house to this wonderful young lady??

NOTE: All of our Syracuse adopters will meet transport in Rochester, NY at apx 9:30 pm, on our transport Fridays. Your adoption coordinator will explain the process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Starla (ETAA), a Syracuse Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Syracuse, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Syracuse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Syracuse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Syracuse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Syracuse paves the way for another one to be saved.
