My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

For the past eleven years Mr. Whiskers has lived happily with an elderly companion, but she has now sold her house and moved in with relatives who are extremely allergic to cats. Mr. Whiskers is living alone in the house while it is in escrow and when the sale is completed he will have to leave. A friend is trying to secure him a new home.

In his life, Mr. Whiskers has lived with 3 older people and 2 dogs (in fact, at times he thinks he is a dog). At his age, he needs another quiet home environment. He is initially shy of men and children but comes around in a few hours. He is a wonderful, comfortable cat with a great personality, who can be both independent and happy to jump into your lap for a cuddle. He enjoys relaxing on the foot of bed or on the couch.

Mr. Whiskers is an easy cat. He can be left alone during the day. He is scrupulous about using his litter box (and letting you know when it should be cleaned). His usual diet is dry food, but he has been used to a "Sunday-Funday" ritual of getting 1/2 can of Fancy feast chicken or beef with gravy. And..he expects a treat every morning.
