These babies were abandoned on someone’s property with the mother. The family kept mom and took the pups to the shelter. Mom is a tiny 15 lb. beagle.

This guy is the largest member in the litter. Dubbed “Bob the 4th” by his fosters, he follows in the footsteps of other great dogs named Bob. Bob is always the first to greet you and ask to be picked up and cuddled. The undisputed leader of the pack, this boy is always up for game of tug.

About A Forever Home Rescue Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

A Forever-Home Rescue Foundation is a non-profit animal rescue group that operates in the Northern Virginia / Washington Metropolitan area. We strive to make quality dogs available for adoption and do our best to match prospective adopters with the right animal!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoption events are held at Petco in the Greenbriar Shopping Center every Sunday from 1-4 pm. We do occassionally skip a week, so please visit our primary website at to confirm that we're having an event on the weekend you plan to attend.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application to be filled out, an interview with one of our volunteers (this can be done at the adoption event), a home visit is required prior to the animal going to their new home. An adoption fee is required to adopt a pet from AFH. Please visit our primary website at for details.
