Hi Everyone,
I'm Howie 4189. The first step in adopting me is to visit www.goboxerrescue.com and fill out the application to adopt.
I came to GOBR because my dad finished college and got a high powered job. My dad loved me and knew it just wasn't fair to leave me home alone all day. One thing he told my mom is that I like rides in the car, that I get excited when I get to go. Excitement or not, I behave and don't cause any trouble. My mom has taken me for a ride a few times, but she discovered it's not so much the ride I enjoy. What I really like (well, love actually) is the chance to go to a drive thru, heheh, that's just the best thing in the world, food comes thru the window just for me! Yummm!
You might think I'm a funny looking boxer but that's because my canine dad wasn't a boxer. No matter really, I am a very good dog. I get along with other dogs and I love long walks, I don't even need to be on a leash cause I love my people and stick close to them. I mean, what kind of dog would I be if something happened to my family if I weren't close by to protect them?
I don't care for being in a crate but it doesn't matter, you see, I'm a good boy, I get to stay out, loose in the house when no one is home. I've never done anything wrong.
My family says I have a 13 hour bladder, apparently its a good thing!
Did I mention that I love toys? Mom says I can't have stuffies tho, I don't think that stuffy stuff is supposed to be there, so I take it out. Give me a sturdy ball or nylabone any day and I'll be happy.
.I am 5 years old and a bit bigger than a boxer. Andddd... I have a tail! I've got more for you to love!
