My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sophie, a 13-year- old Jack Russell Terrier. This sweet, spunky girl is looking for a place to live out her retirement years. She enjoys walks, sniffing other dogs, rolling around on the grass, and treats. She is anxious with new people and situations and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day. Once she warms up to you her tail will wag in happiness when she sees you and you might even get kisses. Sophie is being fostered in Worcester, Ma and her adoption fee is $100. Sophie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, being fostered in Worcester, Ma and her adoption fee is $100.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
