Zeus is about a year old and weighs 67 lbs. He found himself needing a new home at no fault of his own - his mom's allergies have gotten worse and Zeus unfortunately needs to find a better fit. He is a very sweet guy and will get along well in just about any household. He is an active guy and can be hyper at times, so having a new family that will keep him busy is important. This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR with be with North Shore Animal League on Friday, June 23rd at Petland Discounts in Southbury, CT from 2pm-6pm. Then, CPR will be at PetSmart in Meriden, CT on Saturday, June 24th from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting an open house at their adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury, CT on Sunday, June 25th from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury, CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn, MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn, MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
