Tia's Story...
Meet sweet little Tia!! She is a 6-year-old min pin/Chihuahua mix that weighs about 6 pounds. She has a sweet, gentle demeanor and loves to just hang out in someone’s lap. She gets along with other dogs and loves to run laps around the yard before curling up in a sun spot to soak up the rays. Tia is in foster care in middle Tennessee and will be transported after her adoption.

**All Compassion in Action dogs must be adopted by families willing to have their pets be a part of their family and must be allowed inside—especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a “tie-out” or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced yard.

**All Compassion in Action dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tia, a Allentown Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
