Tyson is a sweet boy currently recovering from a fractured and infected rear leg. He is healing very well and bouncing around like a playful guy. He is quite loving, enjoying cuddle time with his foster mom, though he does start out shy with new people. We hope in just a short time, he will be fully healed with cast off his hind leg and no hint of any former injury. Nothing stops him - he's determined to remain a happy and playful boy! Tyson does seem very territorial around his foster mom and will chase off the resident cats. We feel his injury may have been caused by a larger feral cat and possibly the reason he does not want other cats around. Tyson will probably be best as an only pet where he will receive all the attention and loving he craves.

About Romeoville Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Every few weeks we hold adoption events at area Petsmarts and Pet Supplies Plus'. Please conact us at romeovillehumanesociety@yahoo.com to find out when our next event will be.
