My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beau is a 1-year-old neutered male Red Fox lab. Beau weighs 75 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up

Beau needs a physical fence

May 19, 2017: Update / Beau is a one year old red fox hunk with a killer smile! He's a playful but loving 77lb. guy who loves his foster family and the resident labs. He's gentle and well-mannered in the house, doesn't jump, and is gentle with our 11 year old son. He takes treats nicely, sits pretty, and is a typical velcro boy. Beau loves water, chasing balls and frisbees, squeaky toys and head rubs. He's quite the athlete and would love a home with a spacious yard to run off some energy.

He needs a physical fence and is learning to like his crate when left alone in the house. He needs a little leash work, but nothing an Easy Walk Harness wouldn't fix. Beau would love a forever home of his own and is patiently waiting for the right family to come along.

Beau was originally from a large hoarding situation with another rescue. He was adopted but when he chased the chickens on is adopter's "farmlette" he ended up at the SPCA. .

Meet handsome Beau! This red fox hunk is quite the looker! Beau is about a year old, 75 lbs, and is approved for ages 10 and up. He has the happiest smile and is eager to please. Beau seems to know some commands and is an pleasant house guest. He's a bit unsure of new surroundings at first, but is adjusting well. He doesn't jump like most young labs and stays off the furniture unless he's invited. Beau loves chew toys and will chase a tennis ball, but has yet to bring it back. He spends most of his time inside laying near his foster mom or romping with the resident labs. He'll gaze into your eyes to beg for ear and head rubs!
