Sandals is a 2 1/2 month old (as of 6/12) kitten who is looking for a home.

Sandals is currently available for viewing at our shelter during open hours or by appointment.  Open hours are Friday, 6-8pm and Sunday, 2-4pm.

All of our kittens need to be adopted in pairs unless you have a cat at home who is 3 years old or less.  This is so the kitten will have a play companion.  If you are interested, please visit www.ahimsahaven.org to fill out an online adoption application.

As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.

About Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Ahimsa Haven was incorporated in 1999 as a nonprofit animal rescue group. Our mission is to find good homes for abandoned, homeless and unwanted domestic animals. Ahimsa is a term from an eastern religion that means "To do no harm, in thought or deed, to any living creature. Every penny we raise goes to the animals - no one gets a salary!

Our Adoption Process...

Puppies less than one year $300=400 depending on breed and age. Dogs less than 5 years old are $200-250. Dogs over 5 years old are $150 or less depending on age and health status. These fees include spay or neuter, vaccination against rabies, distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and bordetella. We also worm, and test for heartworm. Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization, so your donations are tax deductible. Our adoption policies are as follows: We require a signed adoption contract, and payment of adoption fee prior to placement. Fee is refundable if the dog is returned within 30 days. We require that the dog be returned to our care, in the event the placement does not work out even if that is many years in the future.
