Hi y’all my name is Casper and I am a rambunctious 5-year-old neutered male, who is potty trained (but I do mark on occasion). I live with my foster mama and dad, 2 human foster sisters, and 6 fur fosters. I do need a strong pack leader and a stable home environment. I love my fur fosters and love to play with them outside and I am very adventurous on my own and with my new pack. I will do best with another dog in the house to keep me company (although I prefer the ladies!!) I follow my bestie Annie around all the time to make sure she is okay. I love my foster mama best and follow her around the house all day (she works from home). I am very super attached to her and can be protective of other humans coming near her at times, like when we are watching tv at night. Although I lay with my two fur sisters on the couch with her. I do like my foster dad and have no problem with him, I do beg for food from him sometimes but he “usually” doesn’t give in. I am a big boned and weigh a whopping 63 pounds. I have lost 7 pounds since I’ve been living here and need to make sure that my weight loss continues.
I love my squeaky toys and carry them around quite a bit. I want to play and for you to take them from me so I can fetch them and start the game over. I do like other types of toys but I’ll let you know which I like best or what I am in the mood for sometimes by whining. You know a guy’s got the right toy!! I do tend to growl when I play especially when I am playing tug of war (I know bad habit, but my previous owners taught me that. I’m not guarding or being aggressive I am just playing.). I do not like crates and have issues being in one. I have free roam of the house when they are all gone and I just sleep.
My foster mama taught me some new tricks, I know sit, stay, give both paws, lay down and roll over. This whole time I kept telling her that I will be super cooperative and I am willing to learn. I am a super happy guy who loves to play all the time, but I need strong family who can take charge and show me that I am loved and not be fearful of their leadership.
