My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tiger and Tabby are snugly, playful, friendly and extremely sweet, nine-year-old, chubby tabby siblings looking for a loving guardian together.

Tabby and Tiger lived with a family with a gentle-natured dog. When the family added two more larger dogs with a high prey drive, the cats went into hiding and the family decided to find them a new home.

So, Tabby and Tiger are in foster care with me until they find the perfect new home. These gentle and sweet cats love to be held and pet. They will head butt you and roll over for belly rubs. Tabby, the female is 11 pounds and Tiger, the male is 13 pounds. They have each lost one pound each in the two months since I took them in.

They have only eaten dry food all their lives, so they turn their noses up at any canned food and even walk away from tuna or baby food!

They have perfect litter box habits and are very well behaved and fun to have in the home. They prefer to be the only felines on the premises and are indoor-only cats. They are fine with gentle natured dogs, but really would be happiest as the only pets in the home.

Tabby and Tiger are very healthy, spayed and neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested negative. Their adoption fee of $150 as a pair benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits. They come complete with carriers, food, litter box and everything you need to care for them!

To meet and possibly adopt these sweet cats, please contact sheri@petraits.com for an adoption application. They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
