My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx. birthdate: 4-12-12. Marito was dumped at a previous rescuer's house. He was just thrown in the yard like a piece of trash! He was full of mattes and ticks and fleas! He also had a burn on his back, but his hair grew back in. Marito is good with other dogs and cats, but he is a dominant male who was neutered later in life. Marito weighs 11 lbs. Marito had a hard life before he came to rescue and he is a bit choosy on who he likes and doesn't like. If he feels safe with you and likes you, he will follow you everywhere and he loves to snuggle. If he is reminded of someone from his past, he will chase them out of the room he is in. Once he is attached to his human he also tends to be a bit possessive.
