Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey, there, Brooke here! I arrived with my sister/friend, Patty, in May 2017 and was originally called “Brooks” because they thought I was a boy. Nope! Beautiful girl. But, if you know this rescue and whom they recently loved and lost, you’ll understand why we’re called Patty and Brooke. Also, Patty is a spitfire. You’ll “meet” her later.
I’m a little more low-key. (winkety-wink) Actually, I’m a lot more low-key. In fact, they said I’m kinda “perfect.” I’m just not, well, “all Jack” like Patty … whatever that means. I have this long, curly-cue tail that implies I’m probably part Shiba Inu or Akita. I also have “Bowie eyes” — one brown, one blue. What can I say, I’m an original! I’m a taller, bigger girl around 25-30 lbs. of pure supermodel goodness and about two years old.
Running is fun, but I mostly like to hang out with you and be with you. I love everyone (men, women and children) and have liked all of the dogs I’ve met here … even if they’ve had attitudes. I’m spayed, heartworm-negative, and just a happy and healthy girl.
