Scout's Story...
Scout was an owner surrender. They were moving out of state and could not take him. He is 2 years old and is very affectionate and loves everyone he meets. Great on a leash and does well at the dog park. He is crate trained and very smart. He's a short stocky and sweet boy who needs a new family. He's a very easy dog to have. If you are interested in meeting Scout please go to our website RescueAdog.org and fill out an adoption application. Since our dogs are in foster homes we must have an application before we can set up the meeting. Thank you for looking.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Palm Harbor Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
