Marcus went into the shelter as a stray. He was pretty neglected and very scared the day he was brought in. We think he may have been matted and it hurt when he was handled because although he didn't like the shelter he has since calmed down quite a lot and now greets people with bouncy jumps and lots of kisses. He now adores people (although he may prefer women over men), loves being petted and handled and has a very lovable and energetic nature. His sad eyes will melt you heart and you can tell that all this boy wants is to be cared for and loved. Because he is a little unsure of new people we do not recommend him for a home with kids under the age of 13. He is hypoallergenic and good on the leash. He doesn't like his crate but he will settle down in it. Marcus needs a forever home that will give him the patience, love and guidance that he needs.
