Felicia's Story...
Meet sweet Felicia, a sweet 9 month old Doxie/Pit mix, but our Vet thinks she is more Doxie than anything else. Felicia is a very petite, lovable girl at only 23 pounds, with short legs and a long body. Felicia first entered the kill shelter at 5 weeks old along with her mom and 3 siblings. After nursing she was adopted. Then her family surrendered her back to the kill shelter because they couldn't care for her anymore thru no fault of their own. She is very playful and can use the doggy door. Felicia is up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped. To meet this beautiful unique pup, please contact Vickie at 702-755-3296 and complete an interest application at www.ahome4spot.com. There is an adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felicia, a Las Vegas Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
