Junior's Story...
Junior is a small (6-7 pounds) male terrier mix who is approximately four years old and has the cutest orange spots. He is a very sweet, affectionate boy who LOVES to sit in laps and snuggle. He is a true lap dog and loves to be a part of the family! Because of his snuggly nature, Junior would do best in a home where he can get lots of time and attention from his humans. His foster home includes other dogs and kids (ages 10+) and he does great with them and is very friendly! Although he hasn’t been tested with cats or small children, he might be totally fine with them with proper introduction and supervision, but would need to be tested first. Junior is working on his house training and does well if walked several times a day. He has been wearing a belly band at night which helps a lot, too! Junior is fostered near Huntsville, Alabama and is neutered, vaccinated, vetted, microchipped, and up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm medication. He is currently being fostered in Huntsville, AL but is available in your area. If interested in adopting this amazing boy, please fill out an application at forrescue.net/dog-application or email info@forrescue.net with any questions!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junior, a Chattanooga Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
