Pippi's Story...
The Ponchatoula Pups were a product of an unwanted pregnancy and were surrendered to Heavenly Dog Paws Sanctuary. This litter of 6 puppies are stunning, each with their own cute personality. They have received two puppy boosters, bordetella, and dewormed. Each puppy is now using our doggy door to go outside to potty so they have a head start on house training.

To meet any one of the puppies, go to www.heavenlydogpaws.org to complete an online adoption application. The puppies may be adopted on 6/24/17. Pre-adoption is going on now. $125 adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pippi, a Folsom Australian Shepherd/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Folsom, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Folsom.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Folsom already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Folsom breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Folsom paves the way for another one to be saved.
