My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet this cutie named Sherbert! He was brought into the shelter on June 8, 2017 after being found as a stray in Havelock. Luckily he was microchipped and the people knew to bring him back to us. He is around 8 months old and is current on his shots. Super friendly and loves every minute he gets to spend with his human friends. Seems like a fabulous cat for someone wanting a younger orange tabby! Stop by the shelter today and meet Sherbert and give him a awesome life he so deserves! A real FOREVER home!
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep Adopt a Pet as up-to-date as we would like. So PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to 1 or more kitties today! Can't adopt today? We'd love some toys, litter, or food (especially kitten food) would be good too. Maybe you will have some time for snuggle and love on us while you're here. It makes the cats time here more enjoyable to get love & attention. We need volunteers & foster homes! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery (some vets honor the voucher 100%)...such a great deal while saving a life!! All of the cats are tested for FIV as well as Lukemia before being adopted out as well. The shelter hours are M-F 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4.
