My name is Black Jack!
Please let me tell you about my awesome self. I am around a year and a half old and I weigh around 55 lbs. Please don't let my mixed breed scare you because I am a wonderful boy. I was raised in a home with children until just recently when my family had to move into an apartment that did not allow pets. I am currently in a loving foster home and I have lots of friends to play with here. The dogs here range from 12lbs all the way up to 80 lbs. We all get along great. There are even 2 puppies here that I love! My foster mom also has horses and boy do I love the pony she has named Harley. We get along great and I even catch the flies off of him. I hang out a lot with my 10 year old Lab mix friend, Frances. She and I get along great too. I love to ride in cars, walk on leashes and go for long jogs with my foster mom. Did I mention sticks?? Yea, I love to retrieve them too. I love the indoors and I am also very loving and loyal. My foster mom actually says that she has not found one single thing negative about me!! I am so ready to start my new life with a permanent family. Please consider becoming my new family members. I will do my best to make you very proud that you chose me!!

This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

About Companion Pet Rescue & Transport of New England

About Our Rescue Group...

CPR was formed in 2004 to assist unwanted pups and dogs with finding a new home. We rescue our pups from high kill shelters in TN, AR, MS, LA and TX. Without the dedication of the staff and volunteers of these shelters and without the assistance of CPR, the pups posted on our website would not be rescued. Before partnering with CPR, these shelters had euthanasia rates of 95%. We've reduced the euthanasia rate in all shelters by at least 50%. We rescue and rehome 200+ pups and dogs each month. We accomplish this task with the help of an awesome hard working and dedicated staff and volunteer base. Also helping us to accomplish what seems at times to be a thankless and overwhelming job is our pure and selfless love of dogs! We truly believe that rescue + rehoming = true love. <3

The adoption contract is also found on our website. While it's not necessary to sign the contract until you are ready to finalize the adoption, you may want to look over it just to make sure you are agreeable to all our requirements.
Our adoption fees cover all of the pre-adoption vet work and transportation costs.
