Feta's Story...
Meet Feta, one of the Cheese pups! This little cutie is one of 6 puppies (3 girls and 3 boys) born about April 22, 2017. Mama is a beautiful Black Mouth Mountain Cur. Dad may be a Black Lab, but we are not sure. We expect the puppies will probably be large because they ranged from 10 to 12 lbs at less than 8 weeks old, but we cannot be sure how big they will be when full grown. These are sweet, playful pups who really love to be with people.

If you are interested in giving this sweet baby a home, please go to our website http://jojosdoghouse.com and download an application or email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you one. Adoption fee is $250 and includes age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and parasite treatment. Thanks for choosing adoption!

Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Feta, a Gallatin Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur puppy from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
