Roxanne's Story...
Roxanne (or Annie, as we call her) is a classic lab, of the show dog type, not the field dog type, which is leaner, rangier, and pointier in the head. Annie has the classic square muzzle, wide head, and slightly droopy jowls and eyes. She has a solid build, and sleek black coat.. She is a beautiful girl. Annie also has a great personality--- amiable, loving, and friendly to all. She is very good in the house, quiet, not chewing, just hanging out and lying at your feet. She is house trained. She also is fine with cats, small yappy dogs, and all people. Roxanne still has some puppy qualities--- she likes to romp and be silly and cuddle and play games. But she also has the calm, placid nature of the classic black lab. She is used to sleeping on the floor by the bed. She is very attentive and was born to do whatever her people want. She is smart and very trainable. She would make a great family pet. About 10 months old, 44 pounds. Fee $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxanne, a Stockport Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Stockport, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Stockport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stockport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stockport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stockport paves the way for another one to be saved.
