My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Cameron. Lets just cut right to the chase. I don't mean to brag but every time a person meets me they break into a smile. My foster mom says that is because my smile is infectious. Apparently my long tongue and fun personality makes people around me happy. I would do great with a family that has a big yard or a person who likes to go on adventures. I love going to Shelby Farms with my foster mom and I love playing in the water. That being said, when we get home I plop on the couch and love to snuggle. My foster home consists of a loving mom and her two dogs. My favorite dog in the crew is playful and we get along great. The other dog is on the older side and we get along but I don't bother him when he wants to just relax. I do great on car rides and I don't fuss when it's time to go into my kennel while my foster mom is at work. My favorite place to sleep is by my person's side while I rest my head on them. I am going to be the most loyal companion when I finally get my forever home! I follow my foster mom everywhere and come when she calls... even if I'm having fun! She likes to say I listen better than her own dogs! I have a long fun life ahead of me and I can't wait to find the person or family to share it with. All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted.

In order to qualify for ALIVE’s program all of the following steps must be met: • You must be at least 24 years of age and be able to provide ALIVE with proof of age. • Any current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, and be spayed/neutered. Exceptions to this will only be considered if proof of a medical explanation is provided. • If you currently rent, you must provide a landlord’s phone number and a copy of your executed lease. • All members of the family living in the home where the animal will be placed must be interviewed. • Allow an ALIVE Rescue Memphis representative into your home for a visit to insure that your home is safe for the potential new dog or cat. • Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for a pet. • Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog over 4 months of age is $450.00. The $450.00 adoption fee includes transport to the Chicago area.

We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, ALIVE Rescue Memphis is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
