My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello all!!

My name is Sparky! I think they call me that because I have sparkles in my eyes! I am a really handsome 2 to 3 year old beagle! I am looking for a fur-ever home, someone that loves to love, because I love to be loved! My foster family pets me and I won’t let them stop! I will nudge their hands till they give in and pet me again and again! The 5 year old boy here plays a little fast sometimes but I tolerate him very well! I play fetch and bring back the rope every time; sometimes I don’t want to let it go though. I was a little afraid of the big black Chow when I first got here, but we are great friends now! She even plays with me! Sometimes I steal her rawhide chews and she will yell at me. She lets me keep it though! Oh, and they have 2 cats here, the older one doesn’t even acknowledge me, but the youngest one is starting to want to play with me. I am not too sure what to make of that.

I love to be on the leash right by your side, I do very well, unless I smell something that needs to be investigated, and then I might pull a bit. My foster family says that I listen very well! They say I am amazing! I have only had 2 accidents in the house; I go to the door when I have to go. My foster family is so proud of me!

Since I like to be by people all the time, I don’t like to be outside unless people are out there with me. I let them know that I want in, or they need to come out and keep me company. My foster mom says I have something called “separation anxiety”. Whatever that is! I just want to be by people! To be honest I don’t like my crate either. I get a little stressed out. My foster parents let me sleep in their room on the floor because I get too stressed in the crate. I do get crated when they go bye-bye.

Did I mention I like to go bye-bye too! Anywhere they go I want to go! So that is a little bit about me, if you are interested in me contact BREW!
