Emma's Story...
Emma is a Chihuahua mix who was born in 2013 and weighs 8lbs. She is a lively little girl who gets along with people of all ages, dogs, cats and is even known to snuggle with a few guinea pigs! Emma loves to give kisses. Her favorite thing to do is play with or with out a toy. She can hang with the big dogs and run with the best!  She's not so much a lap girl, but has been known to snuggle if she's feeling hard up for lovins.  Emma does have some accidents sometimes but her foster mom is working with her on that.
Emma would do great in a home with a playful brother or sister, but will also be good with a playful family and lots of toys.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Columbus Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
