My name is Sabee and I have had a rough go of it lately. My owner passed away and one of the family members instead of loving me put me in a cage in the backyard and kept me sedated. I was back there for 5 months before I was rescued. I do have some PTSD from this terrible experience. I am very jumpy and scared at loud noises of fast movement. I am looking for a home where it is calm and quiet and where I can be loved the way I always should have been. I am an older gal about 10 and weigh 10lbs. My weight needs to stay steady as I have some arthritis and bad knees so I cannot get overweight. I do take pain meds to help with the stiffness and pain and I also have a heart murmur but with meds I am fine. But hey it happens to all of us as we get older. I do have this twitchy way about me that I hope will go away once I know you won’t hurt me. Right now I just follow my foster mom around and watch everything she does. I just want to be held and loved.
I may need help getting outside quickly so I can potty. If I sleep too long I may not make it outside so hope you are willing to be patient and help me with the things I may need. I am ok with other dogs but because of my knees I would need to have a home without active dogs because I can’t get out of the way quickly and can get hurt if I get stepped on or rolled over.
I sure hope someone will open their heart and their home to love an old girl!!! I am up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped and just had a dental.
My fee will be 75.00 and the application can be filled out at www.tireddogrescue.com
