My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a little extra love in your life?

I'm Korbel, but my foster family calls me Belle. I am about 4 months
old as of October 2008. You can see how beautiful I am in my
pictures, and I like to make sure that everyone in the house is aware
of how cute and lovable I am at all times. When you come home I will
slather your face in kisses and tell you how much I missed you. It's
like I can't get enough of you!

When it's playtime, I'm all over the house looking for my bones, toys
and other good thing to play with. Outside I love to zoom around the
yard or chase some balls. When it's quiet time, I like to sit next to
you and chew on a bone. If I'm very tired, I'll take a nap with you
on the sofa and keep you warm all night long. When it's bedtime, I
sleep nicely in my crate, and don't wake up until breakfast!

Another important thing you should know about me is that when I go
outside to go potty, I go right away. None of this "looking for the
most perfect spot in the world" to pee on. (Foster mom says this is
especially important to her on rainy days.) I can "sit" and "speak"
and I am learning how to bark at the door to go out. I am a very
smart puppy - I am learning new commands almost everyday!

So if you think you'd like to be totally adored by the world's cutest
puppy then pick me!

Please read our Standards for Adoption, the Beagle Camp Diaries and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog who will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements; and for families with very small children, puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets and hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
