Facts about Dahlia

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Puppy
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Dahlia is a beautiful flower! She is a Labrador mix, just 3.5 months old and a bit over 19 pounds at present. She will grow to be a medium sized dog. Her mom was rescued by our sister organization in Mexico where she and her siblings were born. There is something about the dogs in this litter. Dahlia seems to innately know to respect her elders! It is so charming to see her defer to older dogs, respecting their need for space when they don’t wish to play. Dahlia also never fights with her siblings or other dogs but sure does love her playtime! She is such an incredibly tolerant and well-behaved girl as well. Dahlia is destined to become even more special as she matures. She is, however, afraid of felines right now so would need some gentle introduction to them to overcome her fears. Dahlia has been spayed, dewormed and vaccinated. All she needs now is her forever home. Dahlia is available for adoption in the Vancouver/Victoria, BC area. Don’t miss out on such a special girl. Send an application now to info.pvca@gmail.com.

About PVCA Victoria British Columbia

About Our Rescue Group...

PVCA Animal Rescue is the sister organization of the SPCA Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We facilitate the transportation and adoption of rescue dogs into loving forever homes. PVCA is a network of volunteers, transporters, and foster homes. The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and healthcare efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. SPCA de PV is not supported by the government, corporations, foundations or businesses. The dogs & cats of Mexico are too often found living on the streets after being discarded and/or extremely abused. We devote ourselves to their physical and emotional rehabilitation and invite everyone to come and interact with the animals at our sanctuary. Compassion Knows No Boundaries!

Our Adoption Process...

We screen all applications and in most cases require a home check prior to placement. An approved adoption application must be on file before meetings are set up, as our dogs are in foster homes. We charge a $250USD adoption fee. We routinely follow up with a visit or at least a phone call after placement. We solicit follow up photos and publish adoptions in our weekly newsletter.
