Waldo's Story...

Waldo is a great 8 year old German Shorthair Pointer with an intact tail who came from the Houston SPCA. He's an independent 60 lb guy who is ready to just hang with his people and be cherished as a pet for the rest of his days. He enjoys going to hikes/walks and is still spry as ever but isn't needy or trying to ask for attention constantly. He does well in social situations and has been fine with dogs of all sizes. Waldo was an owner surrendered by his family to the shelter because he is uncomfortable living with toddlers or young children. He likes his home to be relaxed, and children are a bit too much for him. He is potty trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and ready to go home with you today! His adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in learning more or adopting Waldo please visit www.JustCareAnimalRescue.org to fill out an adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waldo, a OAKVILLE German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in OAKVILLE, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in OAKVILLE.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in OAKVILLE already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a OAKVILLE breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in OAKVILLE paves the way for another one to be saved.
