Let me tell you a little about lovely lady LONDON… Her physical beauty is undeniable. However, her caring nature is her most beautiful in a long list of attributes. LONDON is affectionate and kind. She is always ready for a snuggle, a kiss, or to follow you around the house and yard. LONDON is 2 years old, totally potty trained and knows not to chew on things that don’t belong to her. She is the ideal mix of couch potato and play mate. She shares her foster home with children. They love her and the feeling is mutual. LONDON is convinced she is a lap dog and doesn’t realize she is a strong girl so she may not be the best fit for a family with toddlers (unless of course you have significant breed experience).
In addition to being a sublime human dog, LONDON is absolutely fabulous with other dogs! She gets along great with pooches ranging from teacup yorkies to giant Rotties. She plays well with puppies all the way to seniors. She shares her foster home with 2 dogs who can be dog selective, and even they love LONDON! She is exponentially happier with canine companionship so she is only available to forever families who have at least one other resident dog.
LONDON hasn’t ever lived with kitty cats so we aren’t certain she loves them as much as she loves pups, but feel confident that she can coexist in a home with kitties. We will happily introduce her to kitties if the perfect forever family has feline members. LONDON would thrive in a home where her peeps are home often and/or include her in their activities outside the home such as sports practices and meals on patios. Her nurturing soul is filled with endless affection that she willingly shares throughout her foster home. Her forever family is going to make joyful memories with LONDON for many years to come.
LONDON is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of her transport after she is adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
