My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION PENDING

Honey is low energy and likes to hang out with her people. She panics when crated but sleeps next to her foster's bed without getting into things or having accidents. She follows her around everywhere. She is great with all dogs and is non-reactive to her cat. She is great with kids too and must go to a home that allows dogs on the sofa.

She is 2-3 years old and a petite 50ish pounds. She was used as a bait dog and the damage to her face is the result. Everything is healing nicely and she shouldn't have any long term issues associated with her injuries. She occasionally gets startled if you touch her on the side missing an eye because she did'n't see you coming and we would imagine this will subside over time.

She was finally healthy enough for spay surgery so we took her in and fate has other plans... HONEY IS PREGNANT!!! She is due in less than 2 weeks and the vet reccomended closing her up and allowing her to be a mama rather than terminating the pregnancy since the puppies are so far along. Her puppies will be available for adoption in late September after they are weaned and old enough to be adopted.
