Meet Carly! This sweet girl was found under an overpass on highway 270. It took the rescuer over a week to capture her, so he could take her to safety. She is doing very well now! She is estimated by the vet to be approx 5 years old. She appears to be a hound mix. She is 40 lbs. She is house trained and is very well mannered. She gets along with other dogs and does not bother cats.
She has had a hard life. She was quite skittish initially, however, she warms up quickly. She has learned to trust humans and is very lovable! She needs a home with a secure fence, and a person with a loving, easy going personality. Patience and love is needed.
She is heartworm positive. Out of the Woods will cover her heartworm treatment until she tests heartworm negative.
If you are interested in Carly, please fill out an adoption application from our website: www.ootwrescue.org. Questions can be directed to her case manager at tinaz.ootw@gmail.com You will find our adoption applications here: http://ootwrescue.org/adoption.html

About Out Of The Woods Animal Rescue of Arkansas

About Our Rescue Group...

OOTW helps people who help animals. We primarily assist folks who take in stray or abandoned animals and offer them assistance with discounted veterinarian services and assist with placement in adoptive homes. We promote the spaying and neutering of all pets. For more information, go to our website: www.ootwrescue.org

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter. Our pets are being cared for in foster homes. We allow prospective adopters to meet the pet by appointment after we have approved the home to adopt and feel that we have a good match.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that an adopton application be filled out and returned to help us make the best match possible for the rescued pet and for the adoptive home.

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs and $100.00 for cats. We do add transportation costs which are paid by the adoptive home varying from $150.00-$200.00 for out-of-state adoptions only.

Adoption applications can be completed on our website at www.ootwrescue.org
