Facts about Nino

  • Breed: Boxer/Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: D1706185
Nino was surrendered by his owner at a vet clinic, after being hit by a car. He suffered a broken leg, which required a surgery that the owner could not afford. After a couple of months of recovery, Nino is as good as new! He is a sweet dog, weighing around 45 lbs, and is around 7 months old. (6/4/2017) He is doing well in his foster home, getting along well with the resident dog. He has long legs, which makes us wonder his mix, but we are guessing he could be a combination of a boxer & a lab! He is crate trained & house trained & sits on command! We are certain he can be trained for whatever you would like him to do!

Nino is up to date on his vaccinations & has been on heartworm prevention. He is neutered & microchipped.

About Out Of The Woods Animal Rescue of Arkansas

About Our Rescue Group...

OOTW helps people who help animals. We primarily assist folks who take in stray or abandoned animals and offer them assistance with discounted veterinarian services and assist with placement in adoptive homes. We promote the spaying and neutering of all pets. For more information, go to our website: www.ootwrescue.org

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter. Our pets are being cared for in foster homes. We allow prospective adopters to meet the pet by appointment after we have approved the home to adopt and feel that we have a good match.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that an adopton application be filled out and returned to help us make the best match possible for the rescued pet and for the adoptive home.

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs and $100.00 for cats. We do add transportation costs which are paid by the adoptive home varying from $150.00-$200.00 for out-of-state adoptions only.

Adoption applications can be completed on our website at www.ootwrescue.org
