Bub is a 3 year old declawed male Orange and White tabby who came to us because his owner is too old to continue to care for Bub. This boy is so relaxed and laid back he is going to make a great addition to some lucky family. Bub is accustomed to being an inside cat and adores human companions. He is still getting accustomed to his new surroundings but is going to settle in quickly, we just know it. Bub is good with other cats and children but has never been around dogs. That does not mean he is not compatable, it simply means it make take some time to warm up to the right one. Bub is litter box trained and ready to find a place to call home.

Bub's adoption fee is $75.00 which covers his wellness check, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies shot and neuter surgery.
BUB, Domestic Short Hair Mix has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

About Stephens County Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We are a Humane Society and Rescue organization serving Stephens County, Oklahoma and it's communities. We work closely with local municipal animal control departments in providing shelter to abandoned, abused, and surrendered animals, and finding homes for as many adoptable pets as we possibly can. We stress spaying and neutering as the one key way to prevent unwanted puppies and kittens.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Shelter is located at 714 Martin Luther King Ave., Duncan, Oklahoma 73533. Our current hours are:

Monday & Thursday : closed except for intakes
Tuesday & Friday : 12-6
Wednesday & Saturday: 12-4
Sunday: 12-2

We are closed all major Holidays

Our Adoption Process...

We use a simple adoption application/agreement. To complete the application process, we ask for reference letters from the adopting family's veterinarian and two character references. Adoption fees are $100.00 for dogs and $75.00 for cats. Fees include spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination and age appropriate vaccinations.

We have 3 main requirements for our dog adoptions.
1- We require a fenced yard
2- If you rent, we require a letter from the landlord stating
pets are permitted in their residence.
3- If you have dogs currently, arrangements must be
made for a meet and greet to ensure all parties are
agreeable.
