I am Chelsea, a little grey/brown tabby with white paws, bib and face. When I was rescued I was all by myself and only weighed 13 oz. I had to be force fed every few hours because I was scared and didn’t want to eat. After a diet of kitten milk and baby food, I started gaining weight and now I eat regular kitten food. I was all alone during the 2 week quarantine, but once that was over I was able to join 7 other kittens. However, my ‘kitty manners’ were lacking and the other kittens avoided or ran from me. Who knew they wouldn’t like being jumped on and beat up? With time I have learned how to behave and now they are my close friends. I have lots of energy, and love to get in trouble.

About Purr Partners Feline Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Purr Partners was incorporated in 2009, and we currently save and adopt out around 500 cats and kittens each year. We have no paid employees, and as volunteers, we do this because there is such an overwhelming need for rescue for cats and kittens in North Carolina, and because we care very much about the lives of these forgotten animals. We believe that every furry feline deserves a loving family, and try to make that happen. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and offer their time and talents to help save lives. We are always looking for new volunteers!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have three adoption centers: Wake Forest Petsmart, Six Forks Petsmart, and Capital Crossings Petsmart. Our cats and kittens are at the Wake Forest and Six Forks Petsmart all the time, and at Capital Crossings 2 weeks out of the month. We have volunteers available to allow people to meet our rescues every Saturday from 11 - 3 and every Sunday from 12 - 4. We also arrange individual meets and greets when possible and at different times. We do require an approved application before these individual meetings will be set up. These meetings may be at Petsmart or the foster home of the cat or kitten.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in possibly adopting, please go to our website and complete an application. This is not a commitment, but when we receive it, someone will contact you within 24 - 48 hours. The application is the first step in our process. Once you are approved, we can make arrangements for you to meet any of our cats or kittens. If you are not sure which one you might be interested in, we can help you narrow your search!
All our cats and kittens are tested, spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, wormed, and microchipped before adoption.
