Fred Astaire's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sacramento- Fred Astaire is a super energetic and happy shih Tzu mix (maybe with havanese or maltese). He LOVES people and dogs and anyone that will give him attention and play with him. His zest for life is truly contagious and he thinks everyone is his favorite human. He is only 2 years old, so he is still young as well. He is looking for someone who wants a constant companion. I mean, who wants to go to the bathroom alone? If you did, you would be a cat person and not a dog person. So this dog, promises to love you forever, give you lots of kisses, and maybe some lap dances all for the bargain adoption fee is $200.

He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and is waiting for you to fill out an application at:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fred Astaire, a Sacramento Shih Tzu/Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Havanese for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Havanese dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Havanese breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
