Drago's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sacramento- Drago was born on Boxing Day (Dec 26th) and he is one of ten puppies in his litter. He is the favorite because of his cute cow markings. His mom was a stray and before her stray hold was up, it was apparent she was pregnant. So now these cuties are getting ready for homes of their own and we are pre-approving applications. Mom is about 45 pounds and appears to be a bully mix. They live with small dogs as well and mom loves everyone so we are super happy with her temperament and hope they will be just as amazing.

These cuties will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, they have started their vaccines and have been dewormed and will be available for adoption March 4th.

You can find our adoption process and apply online at: http://recycledpetsnorcal.org/adoption-process/

Adoption fee: $150

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drago, a Sacramento American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
