Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This cutie is Parker! Parker is a 16lb mini poodle who found himself at the shelter because his medical issues were too much for his parents to cope with. He was not neutered, had 2 tumors in his mouth and needed a dental. He has now been neutered, had a dental and the tumors were removed. Unfortunately after biopsy we were told they were malignant melanoma with a poor prognosis and the likelihood of high reoccurrence. It could take months or longer for them to come back but most likely they will.
We debated on adding Parker to our hospice list but at only 8-9 years old and full of life, spunky and playful we thought we would see if someone out there would like to offer him a forever family of his very own. Parker is fine with dogs of all sizes, good with cats and great with children. He loves to go for walks and loves even more to ride in the car. He is a very good boy who just wants to be where his family is and to sleep cuddled up in their bed at night.
He greets everyone with a tail wag and even gives kisses 😊 He is a perfect patient at the vet and a perfect client at the groomer. He would love to spend his days with a retired person, someone who works at home or someone who works part-time. We want to make sure he gets as much loving as possible.
