Petey is healthy and flourishing in a safe setting after a life of neglect.  But is hasn't effected his happy disposition and temperament.  He has a  goofy, lab personality and it's showing itself more and more each day. He will need someone who is patient and willing to teach him the basics. Petey has a BIG personality and will need an active owner. He is smart and learns quickly though will need someone who is not afraid of a challenge and enjoys big, silly, super friendly dogs. He loves to lie on soft sofas and laps. He is a chewer so will need some assistance in learning that only dog toys are to be chewed on. While Petey is super people friendly he is not good with other dogs or cats. He will need to be an only dog. Since he is a young, energetic pup and is not a good candidate for dog parks, we feel that his ideal home would have a fenced yard for running, roughhousing and playing fetch and of course Hiking and hitting the beaches in the winter time.  Let's discuss our boy!  We can get you a video and you can speak to his foster Mommy, who knows him well.

About Leader of the Rescue Pack

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of women determined to help as many dogs as we can. We find them on the road, lonely and scared and lost, or we help save them from euthanasia at the shelters. Sometimes we also receive owner surrenders, who for what ever reason, can no longer care for their pet. They might of had to move away, or can't afford the pet or lost their homes, etc, but through no fault of the dog. The pet deserves to have a second chance in life, and we help to make that happen!!

Our Adoption Process...

If you are serious about adopting one of our pets listed, please call or email us for more information. We'll get back to you as soon as possible. We will set up a phone interview with you to see if it will be a good match for the dog/puppy and you. Then we will ask for a vet reference, and also if you rent your home or apt, we will need proof from your landlord that you are indeed allowed a dog/puppy. Then we have a contract for you to sign and get back to us, then depending on the location of the dog/puppy, we will then arrange transport.
