Pepper's Story...
Age:7 years
Weight: 14 lbs

Pepper is a handsome and distinguished gentleman, some might even say he’s a silver fox. He enjoys all the finer things that life has to offer like lounging by a warm fire on a cold night, sipping his favorite catnip cocktail and being adored by all who cross his path.
Pepper’s people were no longer able to care for him and he found his way to HSTT. However he is desperately searching for a home that can keep him in the lap of luxury that he deserves. Pepper is neutered, micro-chipped and current on all vaccinations.
His adoption fee is sponsored, making it even easier to take home this handsome gent!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Truckee Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Truckee, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Truckee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Truckee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Truckee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Truckee paves the way for another one to be saved.
