I adopted Val from the woman she lived with. I am a hospice nurse and when my patient died I adopted Val. Because Val knows me it was an easy transition. Val is an adult cat that does not get along with any other animals. She lived with her former owner because before that she was in a house with 3 other cats and it didn't work. I have fallen in love with Val but I am almost never home anymore and its only my husband and myself. Its not fair for Val. Shes a mild tempered cat and loves her human. She waits for me at the door when I get in at night and follows me around the house when I am home. But she doesn't like too much commotion around her. She likes it quiet and she loves to lay across my lap. But its just not fair to her that I am always gone. My work keeps me away for long days and when i have off days, I take care of my mother. Val is declawed both front and back. She's a good cat, maybe 4 yrs old. She needs someone that will be there for her.
