Hobo's Story...

Hi! My name is Hobo. From the sound of my name, you can tell I'm a bit of a wanderer. I was living in the woods for awhile until a nice couple showed me humans weren't so bad with lots of food and treats. They called a rescue to come help me find a new home, and I've hung up my walking stick for a nice spot on the carpet with my favorite humans. I just LOVE being in a home. I had a rough start, but I didn't let it get me down. I'm friendly and social with dogs of all sizes, cats, and kids of all ages. My foster mom calls me a GEM! If you think I would be the perfect companion for you and your family, contact the rescue to come and meet me! I'll be waiting with my tail wagging :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hobo, a Nesquehoning Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Nesquehoning, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Nesquehoning.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nesquehoning already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nesquehoning breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nesquehoning paves the way for another one to be saved.
