Male Jindo, 5 months
Lanky, bright, and full of energy, Jo lives for playing and long walks! Jo and his brother Toast were rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea and brought to the US, where they both needed some time to recover from pneumonia in foster care. But now Jo is up and about and ready to find his forever home! Jo is very friendly with people, and will especially run up to you to give you a kiss if you have a treat. He is very food motivated, very interested in all things human, and easy to train. He loves to play and wrestle with other dogs in the yard. He LOVES walks, and would be perfect for the active individual or family. He's the perfect hiking companion. He is very smart and knows “sit” (with a gesture) and is partially potty trained. He is crate trained for bedtime. He will need some basic housebreaking in a new home. He is good with cats—wants to play with them, but gives them space if they say no.
