KAIPO (sweetheart in hawaiian). He was very scared and terrified at the shelter but after a week he slowly warmed up. Gentle friendly and very sweet. Once out with another dog he lights up and very happy. Kaipo needs an experienced guardian adult home and he would love another small dog at home to play with. He needs TLC basic training and healthy/holistic food. Update: Kaipo is super sweet and very gentle good on leash. He was curious of the vet office cat and was good meeting him. Will be ok with cats that are dog friendly with proper introductions. Kaipo loves giving kisses and rolls over for belly rubs.

About Furry Friends Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering and finding homes for companion animals in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We need more foster homes so we can save more animals! Would you please consider opening your home to a loving companion animal so they can have a chance for a new life? See our Foster Home info page.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Come see us at one of our Pet Showcases. Our locations and schedule can be found on our showcase locations page.

Our Adoption Process...

We are very thorough in our adoption process. The details and costs can be found on our How to Adopt page. We expect the whole family to be involved in the process.

We believe our dogs and cats should be treated as family members for their entire lives. They deserve the best we can give them and we should never give up on them. Adoption is for life!
